Uses
The Saartjie Baartman hall and boardrooms may be hired for training courses, meetings, conferences or other functions by any organization wanting a venue in the greater Athlone area. They are available seven days a week, including evenings.

Facilities
The following are available:

• Tables and chairs (Main Hall: 100 people; Boardroom 1: 20 people; Boardroom 2: 10 people; Blue Room: 40 people)
• Projector screens available (Please bring your own equipment)
• Flipchart stands available (Please bring your own paper)

Rates
Kindly note that the following rates do not include catering.

• Saartjie Baartman partners: free
• Main Hall: R850.00 – NGO’s / R1000.00 – Other (R350.00 refundable if no breakages or damage to equipment and venue);
• Boardroom 1: R400.00 – NGO’s / R500.00 – Other (R150.00 refundable if no breakages or damage to equipment and venue);
• Boardroom 2: R300.00 NGO’s / R400.00 – Other (R100 Refundable if no breakages or damage to equipment and venue)
• Blue Room: R600.00 – NGO’s / R750.00 – Other (R200.00 refundable if no breakages or damage to equipment and venue)

Conditions

• The venues must be left in the same condition that they were found.
• The hirer is responsible for repairing/replacing any damage/breakages to property or equipment, which is over and above the refundable fee.
• No alcohol is allowed
• A deposit of 50% is required at least 7 days prior to the event and the balance payable before the date of event.
• No prestick, flipchart paper and posters is to be left pasted on the walls after an event has ended.
• The Centre does not supply stationery and photocopy facilities for workshops.
• The Centre is not responsible for any equipment and items left behind in the venue.
• All catering can be done through the Saartjie Baartman Centre.

Bookings

• All bookings and catering requirements must be made through the Saartjie Baartman administrator.
• Requirements need to be made known at the time of booking.
• Payment can be made by cash/EFT
