On Friday 27th November 2015, the Saartjie Baartman Centre was visited by Denise Robinson, from the Democratic
Alliance MP and Nomsa Tarabella Marchesi MP, the Shadow Minister of Women in the Presidency. The residents at the Centre were consulted with regarding their needs and concerns. The resdients appeared to appreciate the visit, being given the opportunity to freely and openly share their opinions and appreciation. The Shadow Minister stated that through Lobbying in parliment and associating with NGO’s, they will seek to assist the residents making their voices heard.
